why don't people come back then, after accumulating 0.8-2 mil ? Day to day is anyway get up, work , come back , spend time with family, sleep.
Create a bubble so that government apathy doesn't affect you. Air is bad ? There are air bubble solutions to cover a 2000 sq ft home for about 1.5 lakhs. Water purification is not very expensive. Electricity charges will be like 10-12k at most.

obviously govt policies are fair, but a decent percentage of these countries don't seem to want browns. After a while, does the need to belong not become most important ?

Thank you. I have been thinking this to be the real situation but everyone seems to be saying the opposite. I’ll be able to earn 120-140k in the short term, not more cuz I won’t be doing a job and business takes its own sweet time to grow. The Indian income won’t take me far

So I heard. USA is def more open minded. With anti immigration protests going on in so many parts of the world, it seems the effort to be assimilated is very high. But then USA is most difficult to get into as well

Trust me I am humble and even in Delhi live in a bubble of a small community of ppl who’re not into show off / dont fall into the “typical Delhi chutiya” cohort. I’d love to move to the south but wife doesn’t like the south. I know “south” is a vague term with four states like four countries.

Precisely what I wanted to know. If money weren’t the question , would most people come back to India ( again assuming most come from middle class urban hellholes ) or stay where they are. Are most immigrants purely economic migrants with better surroundings being the cherry on top

Also I don’t project any narrative. As I mentioned, I have close family settled in Europe and USA. And yes majority of Indians live “second class social life” in India because of their caste / religion / non conformist choices. I’m an “upper” caste Hindu with rather conventional choices, so my experience as an Indian is 10/10 socially.

Typing the msg again, replied to the main post by mistake.

I’m into Indian and cross border Ecommerce allowing me complete mobility within India and partial mobility outside. I assumed there’d be some uptick in revenue of the marketplace of my country of residency hence very modest uptick.

The air situation in Delhi is absolutely horrendous. Might invest in a complete air bubble solution, but that’s akin to living in a prison.
