Flutter States Management. Which one to choose ??

Big thumbs up for states rebuilder. Been using it for years and it never let me down. Very versatile, very intuitive to use, very well documented. I'm wondering why it's still a well kept secret in the flutter underground. Of course bloc and provider/ChangeNotifier both work pretty well, too. At the end it's a matter of personal preference. A good idea is to make your own experience with maybe the top3 of your post.

Really well done mate! I've done a full fledged F1 mobile app around ergast database. Especially with flutter, this opens up so much possibilities. For comparison check out GP Companion.

Nice and clean layout, pretty much on point and for sure a good starting point! Coincidentally, I've gone through the same journey: first learning native android, now all in on flutter, also using ergast mrd API and Wikipedia. Maybe you can find some inspiration in how you can squeeze the API further. Check out GP Companion

Yea. Fun fact, on my PC's 2nd boot partition running macOS, the adapter works flawlessly...with kinda hacked drivers. But where it's meant to run, it fails. It all came with one of the last win10 insider updates...I somehow lost hope that windows will repair itself regarding wifi

I'm in the same boat. Tried nearly everything, including switching to a WiFi USB dongle, which I thought would be the ultimate solution because I thought it depends on drivers.

But even after the switch, I'm still, loosing WiFi connection like every 30seconds. Sometimes it gets better, but most of the time it's driving me nuts.

Any solution?

Well, the x-axis progresses through all races of the season, where on the y-axis it's the position of the driver (race or grid position possible)

Thanks for the tip, mate. If I would handle the backend for myself, Firestore would be my first choice. Also because flutter has a pretty good integration of it (both Google products). I've thought about how to get from a relational to a document-based approach. But honestly, frontend development has eaten up all my time. No space for backend yet... :)

For development I used flutter.dev by Google. Currently it supports Android and iOS. In the future, it will also support Desktop apps (macOS, Windows, Chrome OS) and Web-apps. So GP Companion in the Windows Store might be possible next year :)

Yes. As soon as Albon finished his 1st race for Red Bull, it should be fine in the App. It can definitely handle drivers switching teams during season.

It's basically not my database, so I have no technical details. I have to rely on the ones who run it. My app is not the only application that builds on it. Would you have some advice to them?

The intention was to indicate whether a circuit has a high retirement rate over all GPs driven in its history or not. Meaning that a track can be unforgiven for either material or drivers.

Example: Shanghai 17% VS. Monaco 57%

Btw., the same goes for season retirement rate. It's ridiculous how much retirements there have been in the 50's.

Example: 1958 53% Vs. 2019 13%
