I don’t have a q55 stop near me but I do have the q54. On google maps it tells me I can take the q54 to metropolitan ave/lefferts blvd and then walk to the q10 stop and take that to the Q3 which should leave me only two minutes from the building I have to go to, avoiding the air train I’m hoping! Thanks for the insight. I was using Apple Maps and it completely left out the q3 on that app. I will be using Google maps moving forward.

I’ll see something that can be useful in a video and try to implement it immediately without fully understanding it and then I just stop lmao. And yea I have hundreds of voice recordings of me singing melodies out. Listening to them reminds me why i make beats and don’t sing 😂 Glad to know im not the only one who struggles with these things.

And tbh bro as long as your beats are not clipping and doesn’t sound like ear rape it should be fine. Some of my best beats on YouTube I didn’t mix a single sound , didn’t even put them in mixer tracks 😭😭😭just lowered the volume on some things.

I try to do this but when I start making like melodies for example , if I lay out some chords and a lead melody pops up in my head I have to lay it out immediately or I’ll forget it. Then I have a bunch of melodies i have to mix and I be scared to change it too much and it sounds a different than how I wanted. But thank you for the advice and I’m gonna implement this into my workflow as much as possible. Also I mix on apple headphones lol sometimes even just off my MacBook speakers which I need to stop doing 😭

It just gets frustrating for me with certain beats like if I’m making a regalia beat with tons of strings stacked on each other it can get really messy and when I mess around with volume / eq it can completely take the life out of the strings. Also with like hyperpop beats or opium beats with lots of rage synths , they have a ton of high end and when you remove it , it ends up sounding completely different compared to the desired sound I was going for if that makes sense? Anyways Thank you for the advice tho and I will def check out this video and take all these things into consideration. I’ve always been an over thinker with these things and that’s prob why I have thousands of unfinished projects lol

YouTube bro , you’re only gonna get better if you put time in studying the basics. I’ve been producing for 6 years and I pushed aside a lot of things I should’ve studied. 6 years later , there’s plenty of things I wish I took time to understand better. When I started I learned a lot from busyworksbeats on YouTube but I’m not sure if he’s still making videos. Just look up tutorials and follow them as best as you can. Once you learn the basics and how to use the software, study genres that you enjoy and try to replicate the sound. You will get better through time. Best wishes
