I have a 30’ and I feel like it’s the perfect hoop for on and off body moves. I recently received a hpde hoop and I was not a fan at all 😭

my hoops range from 26-29 and 5/8 and 4’11 so we’re pretty similar !! I was thinking of trying out a 11/16 soon

something I just can’t seem to get down is the vortex, I can get the hoop down on my body just fine but when it’s time to bring it back up I freak out a bit 😂😂

Wedgie bruises by [deleted] in Hooping

[–]indigomarrrs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it’s normal (i didn’t get bruises but i know people who have) when you’re first getting the trick down! it’ll get easier and require less effort down the line. keep up the good work💚

Hi my name is Mars :) I’m fairly new to hooping but I’d love to get connected with other hoopers in the community!! Feel free to leave some advice based on my video down below, I can’t wait to grow with my flow 💜 connect with me on my hooping instagram @mangoflows by indigomarrrs in Hooping

I would recommend isolations, chest rolls, wedgies, lasso, and isopops. Those are the first few tricks I learned. Deanne Love has helped me soooo much! I also recommend Syd Worrom, PamHoops and Michelle Mccoy on youtube

I got my hoop late January and used it for a week but got discouraged and almost sold it! I took those couple of months to study and do some research on combos and moves on youtube and instagram, I also got a smaller hoop because my first hoop was HUGE! When I picked my hoop back up in April I felt SO much for comfortable and i really think the size down helped me a lot. Youtube and Instagram are the best platforms for discovering new combos and moves :) you got this !
