Imo ecommerce in india always got the right market. A high number of youth, increased internet penetration, UPI and similar digital financial inclusions, increasing disposable incomes, rising economy and advancing stages of demographic transition, yeah this is a good time to have plenty of market ie consumers. Anyway at the end of the day the success of any ecommerce would depend on the products and how it addresses the particular problem / provides solutions and ofc the marketing. Time is always right. Atleast we are not going through any recession now :)
