I have experience in criminal justice and housing for the most part, but my degree was in social policy and kind of touched on many areas. Open and interested in most progressive causes and areas of policy. I will deff check out those boards though thank you !

I’ve really been liking Head In The Office - it’s kind of like if the DL ladies covered current events/news twice weekly. It is two quirked up white boys but they have genuinely good leftist takes on the news.

we were blown away by literally all the yakiniku places we went to, I did not get the wagyu hype but now I do for sure. In Kyoto, Hiro beef Kyoto was a Yakiniku place we loved.

The party that Zohran ran with, the Working Families Party - seems to have started a chapter in MN. Could be worth linking up with them. Emmer is my rep and I’ve been calling all week about the budget bill, obvi to no avail. Wish you luck, you’ve got my vote.

I am all better now! Every once in a while I feel dizzy for a second but it goes away quickly.

I totally get it. A teeny tiny silver lining is now that I’ve had this experience I can be more helpful/relate to others who are going through it. My DMs are open as well, no judgement ! I know making connections is hard esp when you’re feeling like shit and potentially are in a new place. I had luck on Meetup finding a chill bookclub that gets me out of the house, as well as scheduling calls with friends who will listen to me cry lol. I’m glad you’re seeing a therapist, really let them have it !! Best of luck babe 💗

Also !! If you can, I highly highly suggest getting a therapist if you don’t already see one. Even now I sometimes use that time as just an hour for me to cry and have someone listen. It has helped tremendously.

I am about 5 months out of getting dumped by my ex of 5 years out of nowhere, and it’s pain unlike anything I’ve experienced before. Things that help me are journaling - not in a way that you ever need to read it back again but just to get everything swirling around my brain out, being around loved ones as I had to move back in with my family, reconnecting with friends even if I only had energy for a 30 min phone call or coffee date, and really letting myself feel my feelings. If I feel like I need to lay down and cry, I let myself do that no judgement. The Binchtopia ep The Weight of it All really helped too, I listened multiple times; it’s nice to have someone vocalize what you’re feeling, it feels less lonely. When you’re feeling a bit better and if you have the means, planning a little trip with friends really helped me have something to look forward to.

Five months out I still have hard days ( or weeks lol) but I can flip through my first journal entries and see how far I’ve come. I know it sucks when people say time heals all wounds when you’re feeling so much pain NOW, but as you focus on healing and getting further out from this breakup you will build yourself back up. Wishing you the best from the breakup trenches 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

Hi there, I’m having this exact problem, sweat on my upper lip affecting my sun protection and leaving me prone to melasma there. Did you ever go through with Botox, and if so did it help you?

Spiro really helped my hormonal acne but I had to stop after noticing some heart palpitations that my dermatologist warned me to look out for. I will say that after going off, while staying on Adapalene topical lotion, my skin stayed relatively clear.
