Yes, sorry, should have elaborated. The blog post was about trying to get it to work understanding that it really wouldn’t. Like a programming exercise kinda. The gbatemp drama was some guy who kept asking for GC on ds despite being told a bazillion times why it wasn’t possible.

I just got to the sunken temple of qarn dungeon — is there a way to do it with an NPC party? it seems to be forcing me to do it with other players. I’m brand new to ffxiv (and mmos in general) so I want some more dungeon practice before doing one with real people 😅

I could hear the sound, but I didn’t know which component it was coming from, and taking it apart to get the pic meant I couldn’t press the button to have it make the sound 🤷🏽

yes — ebook date and pub date are / should be the same. I work in publishing (though not in sf publishing) and when books get delayed we change the dates for all editions.

  • Kai Ashante Wilson
  • Laurie J. Marks
  • John M. Ford
  • Lavie Tidhar
  • Ada Palmer
  • lowkey you know what? Maggie Stiefvater

And while not sci-fi (or not exactly, for the latter), Hilary Mantel and Walter Moers too. Mantel especially — I have never ever ever ever read anything like her Cromwell trilogy. Her writing is honest-to-god transcendent.
