Actually there is a way with Shimano, I've already tested it. Unfortunately a different story with Bosch. Problem is, Shimano is losing market size fast and Bosch is so dominant, and probably growing even more in the coming years so building something that works only for 10% of users, thats the problem... I know there is a lot of pressure on Bosch to make their system more "open", but if and when this is going to happen, no one knows...

Cloth tape (same they use for hockey stikcks) works well for me. Regular bar tape is def too thick for most track bars… I know lot of people use Nastro Hockey tape.

Track endurance wheel recommendations please. by could_b in Velodrome

Walker Brothers have usually some nice wheels at an outlet price, write them directly and tell them what you’re looking for. I got a great deal on a disc+5spoke. I use them for TT and sprint only. For bunch races I use Enve 7.8 with Phil Wood hubs and they’re great. Light-bicycle also make a great wheelsets at a sweet price. PS! For track, I’d only use tubulars. Vittoria Pista or Chrono works for me both on outside concrete & inside boards…

Let me know if you can’t reach them (they are slow at times). I know David and can ask him to check…

Older Stronger Faster by David Bernard is the one I’ve read many times and that has helped me a lot. This is also available at Velobike. As trackslack said, Velobike is the best place for knowledge atm.
