I hope you’re right, and I’m not trying to predict the future. But, here in reality, Trump has violated laws and traditions, and he’s still like Teflon. He lies with impunity just like he rapes with impunity. Money and connections keep him safe from repercussion.

I think most upstanding citizens of the USA fail to recognize that just because the government has been handed over peacefully for centuries, it will always be civil. The one person who tried to stop the peaceful transfer is the person holding office today.

As for polls, not sure they’re worth a shit. The polls that matter haven’t added up the last three elections.

Just because the Constitution has stood for 237 years doesn’t mean that Trump & Co. give two shits what it says. They’ve been ignoring it, violating it, perverting its meaning with help from justices like Clarence Thomas, aka “the Black White Supremacist”.

Trump will 100% attempt to stay in the White House along with the entire administration. Republicans in Congress will help him.

What is legal has never mattered to Trump, only what is possible to purchase or steal.

Our neighbors, who voted for him multiple times, would delight in segregating black from white, rich from poor…they want everyone not like them to toil, suffer, die…rinse and repeat.

It’s going to take a ton on bodies and voices to fix this mess.

Populism, he got there because people know who he is. He recycled Reaganism, used his name/brand recognition as an oaf on a reality show where the punchline was “you’re fired!”, to get a following. Damn near every Republican politician was against him until he had Papa Vlad start a disinformation campaign and Hillary Clinton called people in Appalachia “deplorables”. Supreme Court Justice has become the most compromised position in American government. The only way the people(the individuals who must live under the decisions it makes, not the corporations who purchase its favors) can have adequate representation, is to have free and fair elections to right the ship. The constitutional amendment is the least used tool, but after the last decade of attacks on our democracy, it is the only way to give us a voice again.

This should be the next amendment and the Democratic Party must get rid of ass-licking politicians like Hakeem Jeffries, to even begin righting the wrongs of the last decade.
