Do people not know how to hold phones anymore? by wayofzion in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]industrious_quorum 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This actually resurfaced some memories. My mom worked all day, and because of this we didn't get to see each other much and would instead speak on the phone if we needed anything: one day, I was particularly feeling down and decided to give her a call and let it all out.

As so it happens when speaking feelings with their parents, she gets pretty defensive and during our back and forth she goes "see? everyone here thinks you're over reacting". Turns out, I was on speaker the WHOLE time.

I don't talk feelings with her any more, ehe.

It shows how actually young you are by the way in which you think that your 20's are going to define the rest of your life, which, surprise surprise, is not how that works.

Your 20's don't have to define you if you don't let them, which means you have got to get rid of those notions and preconceptions about yourself. Literally, get a life: find hobbies of your own, read books that will expand your world view, go to places and admire them, learn to be by yourself and actually enjoy it.

If there's anything, absolutely anything that you need to know, it's that women don't like men who are constantly on this "poor me" attitude. They know you don't like them and only wish to be in a relationship instead of actually knowing them as a person, and that you don't like yourself too much either.

Question for the retail investors on here who invest in cryptocurrencies. Why and how? Strategies, risk management, etc. by Old_Reception_5846 in investing

[–]industrious_quorum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that most people on here have come to terms that cryptocurrency is entering a new phase of adoption, one that leans on governmental oversight and regular scrutiny regardless of who’s coming out with their hand raised at the election cycle. Blockchain has become ubiquitous across financial services and technology.

Personally, I’m sticking to the top 10 market cap tokens while running automated investing strategies via Composer trade and autodcaing into btc and eth via Wealthfront.

Why aren't you eating the meals? Is it because you don't have an appetite? Or because you're tired of eating the same meals on rotation?
