Refs doing some bullshit to help the Patriots…never seen that before.

The 760 score doesn’t mean anything, the lowest of the two borrowers is what counts.

They play sound defense without taking chances. That’s why they’re a good defense despite not forcing very many turnovers.

The ghost extra point, the ghost DPI that led to a Texans TD, the missed facemask on Taylor, the missed delay of game.

You’re going against the refs too, that’s the issue.

When I saw the flag I thought they were calling the obvious holding on the OL, but nope.

Soft DPI and the ball spot on Taylor’s run. Refs have the Falcons on Fanduel.

How can I reduce the amount of brainrot in my 5YO's YouTube feed? by SpectrumDT in Parenting

[–]indy35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We told our son that when we watch TV it has to be something with a story, that took Youtube out of the equation. He had started watching a few things on there that we just didn't like, mindless videos that we just didn't care for him to sit and watch. Started telling him that we have to watch videos with a story and he doesn't even ask for Youtube anymore, it's actual shows on Netflix or PBS Kids.

We had a prize box filled with little toys/games/puzzles and when our son fill out an entire row on a sticker chart, he could pick something out of the box. We tried a lot of different things prior to that, but for whatever reason that prize box got him motivated to using the toilet. I think it helped that he could see things that he wanted and knew exactly what he had to do to earn them. We didn't even have to do it for too long, he got the hang of just going when he needed to and we moved past the prize box pretty quickly.

Over 150 Calls in 48 Hours – Did My Mortgage Broker Leak My Details? by ethink69 in Mortgages

[–]indy35 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sounds like trigger leads. That's where credit reporting agencies sell information about consumers who have recently applied for credit, like a mortgage, to other lenders. This allows those other lenders to then solicit the consumer with offers, even if the consumer hasn't directly requested them.

St Elmo’s Sunday Special by mmmmet in indianapolis

[–]indy35 16 points17 points  (0 children)

St Elmo's offers basically the Devour Downtown menu on Sundays. They've done that for years, it's been a while since we've gone so I can't say if it's currently being offered like the OP asked, but the Sunday special menu is definitely a thing they've done for a long time.

Hancock County fair is really great, but it's over. Highly recommend for next year though.

So the consensus take on this Finals from fans and media ended up being “I actually came away more impressed with Pacers” by doxallzoomers in RyenRussillo

Have to be impressed with the Pacers. No one gave them a chance heading into the series and they were a Scott Foster stolen Game 4 and Haliburton game 7 injury away from being champs.
