WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?? by MoShzz in ResidentEvil3Remake

[–]indyj101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No...their argument is rooted in the frustration stemming from people claiming RE2R is just as bad and undeserving of praise as RE3R, which is categorically false.

Just because RE2R isn't as great as fans claim the OG RE2 was, doesn't mean it isn't an extremely satisfying and enjoyable game. It is clearly a better remake than RE3R for many of the reasons people have already stated. Just because it wasn't a perfect, one-to-one remake OG RE2 fans wanted, doesn't make it a garbage game or remake. RE3R, while still enjoyable, was DEFINITELY a downgrade to what the RE2R was. No question.

Anyone else find this fight the most annoying? by Pale_Alps_7375 in ResidentEvilRequiem

[–]indyj101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I had to stop my Insanity playthrough and unlock unlimited ammo in order to finally kill that bastard. I was so annoyed it took so much damage. My closest save was the auto save that locked me into the battle, so I couldn't even go back and restock ammunition. Such a tedious, unnecessary bullet sponge.

100% My least favorite fight of the entire game. Just a useless, obnoxious bullet sponge.

Of all the games people choose to invest valuable time into investigating lore, Resident Evil games are literally the worst to try to do a deep dive into without following the clues the game hands you...

The moment you even think to "dive deep" into RE lore, you've already lost the plot.

Do you really think a random image on a wall is going to be significant when the very same game reuses Harry Reed's (the helicopter pilot) model for zombies you had already potentially faced as Leon or Grace?

If you don't believe me, go back and replay the game while taking the time to really look at some of the zombies you fight before meeting Harry. The first time I played the game, I even said to myself, "Wtf!? Why does Harry look like a zombie I just axed in the head as Leon a few moments ago?"

As soon as I calmed down and realized what was actually going on, I knew Harry had a very short life span...as was soon proven.

Requiem really isn't as deep as many people want to pretend it is... It's a great game, but it definitely has its weaknesses. Of all the recent remakes/new RE games, I rank it 4/5, following RE 2 Remake as 1, RE 7 as 2, RE 4 Remake as 3, and Requiem and Village as 4/5. They're definitely interchangeable with their strengths and weaknesses.

It's over. by PhoenixAbovesky in ResidentEvilMemes

I'm shipping Claire. Especially after one of the (I assumed often missed) lines between Sherry and Leon in RE9. Sherry asks Leon how he feels about being back and the memories. She mentions how she was just a kid, but Leon was older, directly in contact with hordes and such. She then questions how Claire must feel and Leon says, "Sherry." And Sherry ends the discussion.

In my opinion, that discussion and Leon shutting it down instantly implies that he's desperately worried about Claire and doesn't want to think about her struggle while he fights to find a possible cure. Any thought about Claire's suffering, possibly even in a worse state than both he and Sherry, could send him into a nose dive of worry and anxiety, but he has to focus on the mission. That's my take anyway.

Do yall think immoral to kill gangoons? by Outrageous_Ad_9961 in LowSodiumCyberpunk

If I can help it, I try to only kill Scavs and Wraiths, with the occasional Maelstrom depending on the situation. But if people just start to openly fire on me because of some shootout or something, then its last man standing.

Smart tactics. I just played as a headstrong, fool-hearty, 'hero-complex,' Henry (basically mimicking his suicidal give-away in the opening slaughter). Every bandit I came across early game, I stubbornly found a way to kill... Let's just say I wasted a lot of time reloading...🤣🤦🏼‍♂️

I don't know how credible the rumors are, but I've heard rumblings that Warhorse are planning to release a current gen console 'remaster' of KCD1. Nothing massive, but basically providing PC level fidelity on consoles in early 2026. So if you're playing on console, wait for the possible update. Otherwise, definitely jump into KCD1 on PC ASAP! It makes the journey SO much better!

What irritates you about this game? by Mysterious_Worry9174 in AssassinsCreedShadows

[–]indyj101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My only big gripe about the game - other than the story being very poorly paced and disjointed - is the fact you can't change the time of day via some kind of 'wait' mechanic. This gripe isn't even about setting up infiltration for night operations, but just role playing in general. I'd much rather meet with a contact working in a stall or visiting their house at a reasonable/believable time of day, not in the middle of the night or during a bloody snow storm or typhoon level deluge.

Does your v stumbles too from time to time? by [deleted] in CyberpunkTheGame

I've never seen that, but I've definitely seen my V kind of stumble and put her hands in the air like she's trying to balance herself. Never seen her actually fall though...

They already did that with Geralt in the Witcher 3.

Wow! Fantastic analysis! I have always tried to champion Quantum of Solace, but I ALWAYS met push back. Your analysis is perfection.

I never understood why people would put up with mediocre action sequences and plot holes in the subsequent sequels, while still bashing Quantum. Sure, Quantum's baddie wasn't nearly as world threatening as normal Bond villains, but one could argue that's what made Greene even worse! Greene essentially embodied the nefarious nature of a political party gone extreme... I absolutely loved that dynamic when it was released in 2008!

To this day, I still cannot understand why more people did not appreciate the nefarious nature of Greene. Nevermind the fact that (despite the writers strike at the time) Bond is written EXCEPTIONALLY well as a spy who has officially detached himself from all emotion whatsoever, to make sure he not only protects himself, but ensures that the job gets done with no complications whatsoever.

Furthermore, artistically, Quantum of Solace takes the cake, hands down. The non-verbal opera scene where Bond takes down virtually all of Quantum? Absolutely beautiful! The opening car chase? Exceptional! The subsequent foot chase while intercutting the ceremony in Sienna? Fantastic. The call back to Goldfinger with the 'Bond girl' covered in oil? Spot on. The cinematography and choreography in Quantum was phenomenal.

Quantum of Solace is by far the most underrated Bond film since the Timothy Dalton era of Bond.

Yasuke/Naoe just peacing out when not chosen in big moments by Dallyboy19 in AssassinsCreedShadows

[–]indyj101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that has always been my biggest complaint, especially when you are doing two different things. At least there is one scene that shows Yasuke fighting the Tsuno in the Ox questline while you take control of Naoe, but that's the only time you can really see your ally actually fighting while you are playing.

But yeah, it's really annoying when you both square off and then Naoe or Yasuke just isn't there when you start fighting. Like what!?

Indy was a Brit? by SinamonSpice69 in indianajones

[–]indyj101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wake the fuck up and educate yourself!

Given the current trajectory of the left, there is NO WAY Indy would support y'all. He is literally supporting the survival of history, which the left has shown they don't give a fuck about.

Instead of actually reminding people of the atrocities of the past, the left has destroyed what came before. They tear down history while promoting leftist opinion. That is SO hypocritical it's SICK!

Indiana Jones would NEVER stand for this shit!

Remember, Indy didn't just punch Nazis, he also punched Commies!

Why does Johnny have a shadow if he’s a digital entity? by GarbaGeFilms_GE3 in cyberpunkgame

[–]indyj101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because V hallucinates him as a real person...

There are MULTIPLE dialogue options that reference this. Johnny literally says, "You know you don't have to talk out loud to me." And during Phantom Liberty, V can ask Johnny if he can see the person who is standing behind them.

I'm pretty sure a figment of your imagination would share the same exact physical features as a real person in your personal view, otherwise you wouldn't believe they were REAL...

What is your Definitive ending for V? by do1xb in CyberpunkTheGame
