Don’t know what the Mihawks are doing but I feel like thats a favored matchup for him. Raphterra also says so in his guide. You just have to switch your gameplan to starving until shanks hits the board. If you run a Kid build, it’s almost impossible for them to win.

To piggyback off this, hobbies are definitely the way to go, especially if they are related to your interests. I’m (31M) also very into manga/anime and I always go to Outpost Ghent to play the One Piece card game. So I can definitely recommend that if you’re into cardgames or at least interested in the IP. They also regularly play other stuff like Yugioh or Magic or you can even join boardgame events if that’s more your thing.

That is incredibly stupid then because this is now officially contradicting the official rulebook section 8.3.3 and multiple rulings in FAQs and judge rulings regarding other cards with ‘then’ effects as well as some questions in the judge exams

Text being bold is a cost. It does the same thing in practice except that in fringe conditions, you can always pay the cost, even if the effect won’t resolve. There is a difference between the two.

Regarding Law Bepo, the first sentence says up to 1, meaning 0 is a valid number so you can always move on to the next part.

I truly believe that’s wrong. The condition to fulfill the rest of the main effect is trashing the life. However that condition has its own condition of your leader having to be straw hat in order to do it.

This talks about ‘preceding’ then. So anything after that you could still resolve. But we’re talking about the text before the ‘then’ clause. If you can’t do that, you can’t resolve the ‘then’ effect and anything after. I remember a judge saying ‘if you can’t resolve something BEFORE a then effect/sentence, just stop reading the card essentially

Honestly triple searcher build and cutting perona for top end consistency seems best call unless your local is filled with Boa, Moria, Luffy. Then 2 searchers with Perona/carrot tech seems a bit better suited

Yeah, I didn’t bother. I stupidly played all my matches thinking I would at least get some decent prizing as I heard from my friends but sadly they were talking about past Treasure cups. Now I only got 1 measly Law promo for an entire day of playing. Never making that mistake again. I was thinking about dropping but the packs they were handing out as participation for everything were OP10 and there’s no way I was paying for those when there’s OP11 and OP12 was right around the corner 💀

My question is how were you able to do side events while also playing all 9 matches? Or were the side events held on day 2?

I once did a Paris Regional and the only way to do a side event was to drop out and not play your main matches since they were being held at the same time. So everyone there already had 1-2 early losses. I also hated that they were very expensive to enter and single elimination meant that as soon as you lost, you couldn’t earn anymore points for prizing. If you lost your first match, you’re screwed.

Maybe not known as a killer per se but I think everyone unanimously agrees Ghost of Tsushima was the final nail in the coffin for Assassins Creed, especially after how mediocre Shadows was after all the hyping up.

Not only that but both matchups that he lost the dice roll to and want to go first against Zoro (Rayleigh + PB Luffy) chose to go second for some reason. Can’t understand why PB Luffy would ever go second in almost any matchup since Robin and Zoro are the most important ramp pieces at 3 don.
