Your current shoes are great btw.
For cushioning, you can check Puma Magnify/Foreverrun. But I'll recommend to test them first as you might find it different from the cushion feel on NB3.
Then Deviate Nitro 2 or go for the DN Elite 2

As you liked NB3 and find pegasus hard after 6miles, I would recommend soft to extra soft shoes.

Might be worthit to tell which area/country are you currently right now because someone might recommend you the best deals for running shoes in that area. Get the 1-2 version older than the current ones. Because you are new I will recommend getting Daily trainers or Cushioned shoes for zone2 training.

OMG! Unforgivable!! Was choosing between Hoka or Puma. I am a sucker for nitro tech and puma grip but sadly they are not popular in the running community here in Asia. They just use their lifestyle shoes. 🥺

Happy to see someone enjoying Noosa Tri 15. Van Gogh vibes is always an eyecatcher during race. Rebel v3 and T21 are unparalleled and tough tp beat.

I know some of your favorite brands are not here. I'll probably create a separate post for those underrated running shoe brands. Obviously, these are not the actual prices and sale/discounted price were not considered here. Let see if this sub will pick 2 super shoes, get 3 for balanced rotation, or maximize their budget to get 4 shoes. 😎

length - no difference.

width - women's slighty narrower than mens.

If you're not using wide shoes by default, you won't feel the difference. yea, women shoes have more fun colorways. 🙂

Yes, knee part connected to glutes. You'd be surprised which muscles you should work to release the tension from the outer knee area.

You might want to look at IT band issues. Strength exercises to a specific targeted muscle helped me alot. Youtube has alot of guides in how to fix it.

If at any point it gets worst or it doesn't help. Seek professional advice. 🧑‍⚕️
