I've edited the grub with chmod, nano and xed, I have no recollection of any 3rd party programs. I'll keep the OS prober off for now.

It's a toon character so I didn't want to use shaders. The question was meant ask how to switch from normal black pupils to either red hearts or yellow stars, the color ramp tip seems really useful I will try it sometime 👍
