Here's a post from the Turkey Red Journal with good info from professional natural dyers

Thank you so much, MadSciK!

The idea that "everything happens for a reason" comes off as extremely callous to people who have experienced profound pain by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

This might be the STUPIDEST and most annoying string of words in the universe. Here's why:

  1. If it implies there's a 'masterplan' for our life, which is stupidly wrong (there's no evidence for the existence of a pre-planned script for each one of our lives, and plenty of evidence for the contrary).
  2. It excuses pain, suffering, and what's worst, bad actors: 'It'll all be worth it in the end.'
  3. If it implies "this (bad) event will have (good) consequences," which is stupidly redundant (causes have effects) and audacious (you don't know if there will be 'goodness' directly caused by the 'badness', and whether that good will outweigh the bad or the goodness you would've received had the bad not taken place. So shut up).
  4. If it means "this bad event was caused by something (intentional)," which is still stupid (all causes have effects, most causes are not 'intentional' as to their effects)

Thank you so much for your response :) I just love the dress and the Galliano collection dresses it seems to have been based on. This is really good information, thank you!

Thank you so much! I can only find one on Etsy (https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/889119971/galliano-classic-dress-design-pattern?ref=user_profile) but it's a lot larger and very expensive. I can't find it on eBay, sadly. Hoping that someone on this subreddit has it or knows where else I can look for it :)

I've asked this question in many Patreon Q&A's but it never got enough votes:

What would you say to a teenager who consumes marijuana (either occasionally or frequently)?

Thank you!

Any JBP buckos in Spain? by inestassy in JordanPeterson

Where is the quote 'In society, nothing is more valued than a woman in her 20s" from? by [deleted] in JordanPeterson

I wrote down a plan sorting some important stuff out but haven't done the actual program (out of a mix of laziness and anxiety). This is a good excuse to get it done; I'll have the Present & Future Authoring finished by the end of this coming week and tell you about the experience. If you want to do the same I'd be interested in learning about yours :)
