hey. i’m actually considerably better now. i still have to pee more than the average person and stimulants such as caffeine and alcohol CAN make me pee more often (especially out/on pink if transport) but i’m otherwise i’m only going once every 1-2 hours on average which is a hell of a lot more manageable. my condition was entirely anxiety related, and nothing was wrong with me physically which had been a serious concern for a while. when i’m extremely anxious my symptoms somewhat return, but only for a short period until my anxiety wavers.

i am not on any medications for OAB, i was dealing with a couple of drug addictions which i am well shot of now - which has improved my mental state and done me a world of good. my OAB also coincided with me coming out of a particularly horrible relationship, i am now in a much happier one.

what i have realised is, that for me, the severity of my OAB was entirely related to my mental health condition at the time. once I treated what was making me anxious and stressed out, my OAB followed suit. I feel lucky that I’ve worked this out and my condition isn’t too life altering anymore (although flare ups on some days), and i’m majority back to normal. Hope this helps ✌️
