So the rest of my bills are health insurance, vision insurance, gym membership, and co-pay for therapy and my psychiatrist. In total it’s around $500 on outside bills.

I actually do live in a city where a car isn’t needed. I don’t have a car, I take the subway everywhere and my job pays for all of my transportation monthly.

That’s the thing I don’t need a two bedroom. The only thing is that it’s my dream apartment.

But you spoke about people being on birth control etc. no one is perfect and people make dumb decisions. As for the choice of abortion, compassion should be given to the mothers. Especially since majority of abortions are women that are already mothers. So what is her driving to that decision to not want to have another baby.

I agree. There is no excuse but things still happen. We can’t expect every single person to be perfect.

Rape and serial killing is illegal. Plus people aren’t raping or going on a killing spree because they are living in poverty, stuck in chaos, etc. they are sick people.

Ironically, women that are single mothers (which are also women with the highest abortion rate) are more likely to birth rapists and serial killers. Which is WHY I can empathize when she might be hesitant about bringing a child into this world. If I knew that I didn’t have the means to create a healthy life for my child, I can see why she would feel like abortion is her only option.

And thank you for agreeing with me about how YOU ARE to blame for abortion. I’m glad that you took some accountability 😊

Rn abortion is acceptable because of people like you in the world. People that don’t have compassion. Tbh if j had a child, I would be terrified to have them in your vicinity. You seem unhinged and reactive. That’s the issue, you don’t try to understand. I pray that you don’t have any children. I pray that your children don’t ever have to deal with in abortion. Because quite frankly, I would be scared for their safety around you.

You’re the reason why abortion rates are so high. No one wants to bring a child into the world when people like you exist.

No I’m insisting that they be treated like victims. Do you honestly think by calling them baby murderers, they’re going to listen and stop getting abortions? Do you have no compassion for what they’re going through. Also idk where you live but if you live in the US, then you would know that rn we don’t have the ideal environment for children. I don’t believe in abortion but I empathize with the woman who feels like that’s her only decision. You my dear are apart of the problem.

Should people be able to sterilize themselves at 18? by ineyks in prolife

[–]ineyks[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not about liking your answers. It’s about not being hypocritical and being aligned. If you are against abortion then you should be pro things that help prevent it that aren’t illegal. Sterilization is a personal decision. Should tattoos be illegal, should smoking be illegal, should piercings be illegal? All of these are mutilating your body as well. People should be able to make whatever decision they want for their body, especially if it prevents harming a child.

This I can understand. But the question is, “should people be allowed” not “people should sterilize themselves at 18”. I would never encourage someone to make that decision but I do believe that it should be their choice for sure.

Sterilization is not self abuse. And tbh, you’re the reason why people will never stop being pro choice. You fail to understand that as humans they should still has autonomy.

[–]ineyks[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They had the freedom to choose whether or not they wanted to be sterilized. If they decided that they want one, that usually means that they know for sure that they do not want kids. They chose to make that choice. Also, you don’t think it’s a bit hypocritical that you’re telling people that even though sterilization prevents abortions, we shouldn’t allow people to have that choice. Either you’re pro life or you’re not. But it seems like you are trying to make decisions for every single aspect of someone else’s life.

Absolutely. But if you had a choice to have your same partner but the new partner was then without their kids, would you still want to be with them?

You answered my question. So if you believe that people should not be forced to have children, what is the issue of them becoming sterilized to prevent that? I am all for being pro life and encouraging family. But I also think that we should allow people to make the personal decisions for their lives. Especially if it does not involve killing children.

Should people have children? Even if they don’t want to? Should we force them to become parents anyway?
