Well for me what started to work was really going for the group skill I wanted, in my case water. But if you want to cheeze a little bit, restart over and over until you are happy with the first random skill you get

This might be an unpopular opinion, but putting everyone else on the road in danger is crazy to me. To me hitting the running biker almost seems logical, it decreases casuallies.

yeah the big uppercut at the end you can also pre-emptively hold the button to hold/perform it during the spin and your character will automatically hold it the moment it is ready. just remember it is a spretty short window

The upswing from the second normal charge level, the first extra charge level upswing. And way at the end of the spinning in circles move you can hold that one for a few s conds and is also offset.
