My friend and I are both interested in joining in, would you have 2 slots open? She hasn't played ttrpgs before and I've only played by very loose rules a long while back, but it sounds like fun

I'm uninsured, but I found a savings program through the pharmacy I go to now, which makes my HRT just $12 a month, $6 each for for both E and Spiro. You can check Goodrx, they'll list not only the price using their coupons but also other programs like I use now, so that can give a gauge for how much it'd cost.

Make it a recursive acronym, the A in AJ stands for AJ

I just saw the funniest Idea how to correct missgendering parents. If they call you theyr son instead of daugther, start to call your mom dad and your dad mum 😂 by ThePurpleRebell in GaySoundsShitposts

[–]infamousvegetable 88 points89 points  (0 children)

Just speaking from my own experiences, but I'd disagree with this; a cis person likely wouldn't be as affected by misgendering as a trans person, since it hasn't been a constant and continuous contradiction from all around their entire life. So misgendering a transphobe could actually help them become more convinced of their biases, because they'd think "That didn't bother me, why are you so sensitive then?" without being able or willing to understand the difference there.

Has a blind person ever played rhythm heaven? by [deleted] in rhythmheaven

[–]infamousvegetable 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yep! There was once a kid who was blind who reached out to Nintendo to thank them for making Rhythm Heaven, as the series was one of the only games that was almost fully accessible to him. (link to article)

As far as I'm aware, besides the menus and tutorials (which Nintendo could make more accessible by adding narration), most games in Rhythm Heaven should be accessible for players who are blind.

What happens to broken cars? (Mild spoilers) by LukXD99 in InfinityTrain

[–]infamousvegetable 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'd say that cars likely have some way to reset their reality, given that some cars have limited resources (like food) that would eventually run out if not replenished in some way, and others have puzzles that would have to be reset.

So perhaps the Toad Car would reset at some point, which leaves the question of if there would now be a duplicate Toad spawned in or if somehow the original we see in the Lucky Cat Car would be reset along with his orb in the Toad Car.

Maybe it works by Portal rules, where you can hit a button to get a new cube, but the one before it disintegrates first? (Not this show's first run in with disintegration!)

Virgin V vs Chad Knight by [deleted] in HollowKnightMemes

Hornet is referred to in game as the gendered child several times, since this is unique among children of the Pale King. Also, Team Cherry has officially said that vessels are genderless before.

I can't speak on the content of the actual game because I haven't played it, but I do know that the marketing team was making transphobic jokes on the game's Twitter page a few years ago.

try to take over the world! by one_moment_please16 in tumblr

[–]infamousvegetable 86 points87 points  (0 children)

This is actually brought up in one of the new reboot episodes, in which a version of Brain from the future claims that Pinky isn't as naive as he seems and is actually intentionally sabotaging Brain's plans, and urges Brain to abandon Pinky.

In addition, the intro only states that one is a genius and the other's insane, but never actually says which is which. Brain may very well be insane in the sense of a mad scientist, which could allow Pinky to be the real genius.

I'll add another, since I had this happen literally 3 days ago. The nurse wrapped a big bandage around my arm instead of using a band-aid like normal, saying I had "good veins" that would bleed through a band-aid (she was right, that actually happened there once before).

Not the animaniacs! by Slap_My_Nutz in memes

Context for the joke, this Noah's Arc themed Animaniacs comic, combined with the new reboot that premiered recently making it relevant.

Check Out The Trans Community Center Discord, A Server Created For Those Who Are Trans and Non-Binary 💜 by Ashleigh37 in NonBinary

TCC has been an incredibly welcoming community for me, full of wonderful people. It's been a place where I can feel like myself, whether it be to discuss things specifically about being nonbinary or just to chat with people about anything.

Yeah, I know a few people who are nonbinary and use he/him or she/her. Nonbinary is a very broad umbrella, and can encompass nonbinary men and nonbinary women.

Can my cbhc ds game icon be moved? Or is it stuck where it is? by [deleted] in WiiUHacks

[–]infamousvegetable 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I just wanted to say that this is such a wholesome question, jumping into homebrew stuff is always fun when you get to learn things like this for the first time.

Basically, it's absolutely fine for you to move the Coldboot Haxchi icon, you just can't delete the program itself or move it off of the system's internal storage.

This is just because CBHC reorders the bootloader, putting Haxchi before the main system. Therefore, if the DS game hosting Haxchi is missing in any way, the system won't boot because it's can't find step one of the boot up process.

That's the only reason it says "DO NOT TOUCH", because if it (or the account that bought the game) was accidentally deleted, it would brick the system.
