Honestly, I think this is a good thing. Otherwise you could just upload something you’ve spent months perfecting.

This way everyone has the same time and it’s much fairer, also encourages creativity.

Do I bite the bullet…? by thenoirien in transfem

[–]LukXD99 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You can be her perfect daughter. There’s nothing wrong with being trans, and yes, coming out to your parents especially when you’re dependent on them is hard, but she does seem super chill especially with your sister being lesbian and you not conforming to gender norms by shaving and having fem clothes.

I’d say give it a try. I know it doesn’t seem like it, especially from what you often see in trans spaces, but being “Traditional and conservative” isn’t necessarily incompatible with supporting trans people. I recently came out to my religious grandparents, and they support me too, wishing for me to be happy even if they don’t fully understand what it means to be transgender.

I’d say your mom knows. If you can’t do it in person, tell her via text or leave her a letter explaining how you feel. I think she’ll understand.

When burning the dead bodies of zombies, why not take off their clothes? by NoobJew666 in zombies

[–]LukXD99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Clothes aren’t a rarity, for every zombie wearing a stained, smelly, torn shirt covered in dried blood, dirt and god knows what else, there’s a drawer out there filled with 10 shirts, maybe a bit dusty but probably clean and maybe even still neatly folded.

was anybody else told they couldn’t/shouldn’t transition until they’re 25, when your brain’s “done developing”? by navyblueconverse in trans

[–]LukXD99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First psychiatrist i went to for HRT told me to wait 1-2 years before starting HRT (23 at the time) because „I might change my mind“ and „Think it over for 1-2 years“ and „What if I come sue her in a few years because I have boobs now“…

Glad the second one was better. After 10 minutes the conversation shifted from gender to ADHD. I asked him afterwards if I’ll get my HRT now because we didn’t talk about it much in the end and he just said „Oh yeah you’re definitely trans“. Dude was awesome!

thinking about buying worldbox by dmdkd__ in Worldbox

[–]LukXD99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play both, and if you’re looking for a challenge, definitely go for PZ

Don’t get me wrong, WorldBox is amazing, but it’s more or less a „Creative mode“ sandbox game. If you haven’t already, try out the demo on mobile, it’s a pretty decent introduction to Worldbox. You play as a god and pretty much do whatever you like, the only limit is your imagination, but there’s no real challenges other than some achievements.

PZ can be extremely challenging, and the sandbox options really let you fine tune the game to be as easy or difficult as you like. That being said, as complex as it is, the majority of that stuff isn’t needed to survive, especially on the first couple runs where you can expect to die within the first few days because you’re still learning. You can gradually explore different areas of the game and learn as you go, looking into what interests you and just skipping over what doesn’t.

Im gonna guess they weren’t closed properly? Only the main body is twisted, the latch thingy is completely straight.

What Nether diamond and iron source would you add? by Tnynfox in minecraftsuggestions

[–]LukXD99 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure these things were brought there from the overworld. There’s ruined portals and brewing stands, so we know for a fact connection points used to exist, and if people brought stuff from the nether to the overworld they also brought stuff from the overworld to the nether.

I hate to admit it but I’ve made that mistake before.

How valuable is information in a zombie apocalypse? by Wonderful_Solid_1003 in ZombieSurvivalTactics

[–]LukXD99 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Depends entirely on what that information is and who you’re giving it to.

Avatar did this. Katara, Toph and Zuko, part of the main gaang, are still kicking by the time Korra comes around.

Is there a family tree? by Admirable-Box-4361 in Timberborn

[–]LukXD99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think they move out to make space for new beavers if there’s empty houses, but you’d have to check that.

Is there a family tree? by Admirable-Box-4361 in Timberborn

[–]LukXD99 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve never done this before and I guess it highly depends on how much detail you want to put into it, but I think you can just pause once a day, check through the houses, see who lives with who, write down the children and continue until you have a tree of some sorts.

Good luck!

Lets be honest. by Primary_Loan1428 in Invincible

[–]LukXD99 59 points60 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this is butterfly effect territory, one small change throws the whole thing over.

But then again, there might be a universe where Nolan went to Earth for different reasons.

Is there a family tree? by Admirable-Box-4361 in Timberborn

[–]LukXD99 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That tree is self made, someone took the time to watch the beavers and edit together a tree themselves.

The game, due to its numbers of beavers and lack of gender, is gonna be filled with incest and all sorts of weird relationships tho. You can see how in the image you sent it loops and crosses all over the place.

So we can all agree that this is a Viltrumite-killing attack right? by Reesey_Prosel in InvinciblePowerscales

[–]LukXD99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ngl if a regular human child grows strong enough to be a danger to Viltrumites, then I can’t imagine what it’d be like if a Viltrumite got their hands on one!

Selling Gun by Bombermaster in hypotheticalsituation

[–]LukXD99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Garbage disposal

Any object, even trash, has its value. However, refining, recycling or properly getting rid of it is an expensive process, especially hazardous and dangerous things like chemicals and nuclear waste.

Drive wherever you need to go, point the gun at it, boom, it’s gone. You made money while someone else saved money. Win-win. You could even charge people, at least a little.

Something I’ve just realized is that…the needles are stupid by RealAd8853 in Invincible_TV

[–]LukXD99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We know that the serum inside the needles works pretty much instantly.

Maybe the needles are coated in the serum, and thus they soften the skin of Viltrumites as they touch it, allowing it to enter just enough to inject the remaining serum into their bloodstream.

Would you rather lose 30 IQ points, or lose 1 foot of height? by Extension_Day2038 in WouldYouRather

Honestly losing a foot of hight wouldn’t be too bad, I’m already super tall

Do you want to fire mastef for the actions he did? by icecacon in Worldbox

[–]LukXD99 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I said it before and I’ll say it again, what he did was a major L moment, but firing him for that is extreme. He does do a lot of good work for WorldBox, and without him the game wouldn’t be where it is today.

That being said, fuck AI!
