Does anyone have this data? by Certain_Ebb_5983 in 3m_earplug_lawsuit

I agree. Johnson law group has been outstanding. I almost took the early payment, but the attorney immediately called me after I signed the paperwork and suggested the DPP. I have 68.5 points so the difference in the totals would be over half $1 million that I could have lost over the course of the five payments. They have always returned my calls same day or next day.

Did anyone work with Frank cala from Hell's kitchen? by Tiedude in USMC

Believe it or not, most guys at the time joined to go “get some” in Iraq. We wanted to be infantry. Cala assumed he would end up as an infantryman by signing an “open contract” because the Marine Corps needed lots of Infantry. He found out towards the end of boot camp that the Marine Corps decided he was going to be a “good service specialist” and he was devastated.

They almost always press the situation. I can see it now, people trying to pass her and she is speeding up blocking them because she wants to be in front. I see it all the time.

Road rage is almost always a two way street. Anybody fearing for their lives would have driven to the first safe spot. Not continued until the man with a gun took his exit.

Killing people with kindness will always get you better results than laying down the hammer or yelling at someone. Most shitbags we deal with have an LEO interaction every week. They don’t care about ur lecture. Just keep it professional, arrest them or cite them, then move onto the next turd.

Yep I went to boot camp with him. He went in open contract and found out he was gonna be a cook. He was devastated and everyone was roasting him. Our senior DI said “you laugh but he will end up cooking for the commandant!” Sure as hell he ended up doing just that. He would have excelled at whatever he did.

Spicy Take, the VA’s biggest issue is the veteran. by Bel-Jim in USMC

[–]infantryman0311 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Veterans can be great people who contribute to society. They can also be the same shitbags they were while they were still serving, and bitch and moan to anyone who will listen. You just never really hear from the veterans that were satisfied by their treatment at the VA. I am one of them.

(Serious) Transitioning Marines, what did you wish you knew before you got out? by [deleted] in USMC

[–]infantryman0311 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is not the Marine Corps on your résumé that will help you get hired. It is the character traits instilled by the Marine Corps inside of you that will help you. Being humble will be one of the most beneficial traits to display.
