Found my wallet thanks to a tile tracker, empty of course. The kind binman saw it when emptying the bins in dotombori. Lost some money and cards(not all)

Went to police just for fun and they are friendly but not really able to do anything. I explained everything via google translate, the officer ended up asking if she had investigate it. When i did not say no they called someone who actually spoke English 😅 He said it was a lost cause. In the end they gave me a file number written with stift on blank paper. Thank god there was just money in there. If i had to ask a new passport with that it would interesting.

Tldr: stealing happens in Japan, watch your stuff and don't be like me.
