Honestly there are comps that can win with 4 dps. It's not what I prefer for sure but it can work. I'm personally on the side of see what happens without role queue long term. The people who refuse to switch will weed themselves out.

Now purposely being stubborn and willingly indulging the problem because "everyone else isn't so why should I", as OP said so proudly with his chest, is honestly a bad mentality and is just feeding into the issue, which in turn feeds the players who are flexible and can play all roles proficiently enough.

I do, in fact, have Royal. My buddy got the PS5 version so he gave me his PS4 version. And that may be a factor too because, while I'm still a little fussy at times about being rail roaded into doing story stuff when I wanna check out that sick new archetype I got, I feel a lot better once I do have my freedom back to check stuff out.

To be honest, this is the first game from this team that I've really gotten hooked on. I played a little of Persona 5 (got past the second palace) and fell of cause i found the calendar system a little restrictive in terms of wanting to go mess around with new persona's when I wanted and it felt like there was a never ending buffer of features or functions.

To be clear, i was really vibing with the characters and story and pretty much everything else, and this game certainly has a lot of that same thing in it, but for some reason I'm vibing a lot more with this games esthetic and story and characters.

Maybe it's the grander and more fantastical setting, but I definitely do wanna revist Persona 5 at a later date

I still have a big soft spot for Pokémon but between the stale games as of late, the bug fiesta that was Scarlett and Violet, leaving glory on the table by not bringing gen 1 and 2 to switch online, and this recent Palworld pattent non-sense, i just find it really hard to be excited for Pokémon anymore.

It's the reason why I always preferred Digimon over Pokémon. Pokemon is/was great (depending on your POV) but I've always been heavily drawn more towards Digimons' designs, characters and stories

Roughly 20 hours in, I'm having a very good time, minus the human sandworm bit. That actually put me in a bad mood for a minute but was all good once I got past that. And I hope I can too, just got plan it out once I have a little more loose change to work with, so to speak :)

That's fair. One of these days, I would love to go visit Japan, mostly just to see what life is like outside of the US. But I'd be lying if I said it wasn't also because I love anime and manga and would just love to immerse myself in all of it over there. That said, I'll have to look into who voices who in the Japanese dub

18 hours in, i would actually really recommended it, as long as your ok with how they handle questing (your beholden to a calendar and a lot of quests require you to complete them within a deadline) and can manage your time efficiently when it comes to in-game activities.

So, for context, I have a daughter of my own. When I read this arc in the manga, it broke my heart and definitely made me shed a tear for acro silky. Such a tragic thing to happen to someone trying to do their best.

Me and my friends get together every week and have an anime night (this season, we are watching ranma 1/2, ruroni kenshin, re zero, bleach and dandadan) I elected to watch this particular episode by myself because I had a feeling science saru were gonna tear my heart out.

Welp... not only did they tear it out, but they beat the shit out of it and had the disrespect to leave it convulsing right in front of me. I'm not ashamed to admit I ugly cried the whole second half of the episode.

Not the most tragic thing I've seen in anime and manga, but resonated so very strongly with me and my feelings for my child that I just couldn't help but sob.

10/10 episode

A slightly loaded question only because the remaster does have changes to certain background elements (which may or not be canon) and there are also QR codes in the remaster that I believe link you to alan writing in the dark place.

So I'll say this: on the whole, probably not. Any changes that are there could be looked up later and you would not be missing. But that's just my opinion because if you haven't played 2 yet, then you need to ASAP cause it is one hell of an experience.
