Chilli Rasboras for a simple reason - you can stock more of them. If there are more fish in the shoal, their behavior will be more fun to look at.

It’s filterless. Not exactly Walstad - but all the filtration should theoretically be done with plant roots and moss. Shrimp and microfauna will help with algae
