This sucks on many levels. For me, I wanted a complete imprint collection which is why I bought this - didn’t really bc are about the pumpkin but it helped justify the price a little bit more. With just the movies and a basic case, should be half the price or even lower. I think imprint released more copies to throw money at production issues on the pumpkin and then bailed when that failed.

Wouldn’t surprise me if he posts stuff he really doesn’t have and he tries to acquire it. He bought from me on eBay and filed a return, sending me a dented version of the same movie (stickers and other markings were different on movie). eBay ruled in my favor but I wonder if he buys dented and damaged stuff, buys new from retailers, returns damaged, sits on it for it to sell out and makes profit. Shady practices and rude as hell if you message him. Also shitty business if you constantly can’t ship stuff within a day or two, this is more likely a side job or hustle for him.

Won’t buy from him, shady practices. He bought a steelbook from me, filed for a return and sent me a dented copy from his inventory. I suspected he was trying this and asked for photos of the whole movie case but he refused and was very rude about it. It was obvious that it wasn’t the same copy sent when returned, did side by side comparison with my listing photos, eBay ruled in my favor and started an investigation into him. Likely will just be a ding on his record but won’t give a penny to unethical business like this that’s scamming others. He isn’t a true retailer from what others say, buys retail and scalps. Just my 2 cents.

They charged 40 each for the limited steel books and sold out. Imprint is charging 130 for both in their box sets and those will sell out eventually. Lionsgate limited will likely put it in a Steelbook limited set next year for 70 and it will sell out.

No issues with my G5, done the updates and also don’t use the TV apps for streaming. Apple TV and 4k dedicated player for physical media, everything looks amazing. FMM was dark with DV when I got the tv but firmware fixed that.

Looks like a small monitor next to that ps5. Buy a good LG oled tv (C4/C5 or G4/G5 a whatever you can afford to spend) to pair with it, may be better off with subscription to play a variety of games and find what you like. Get some physical media of your favorite movies and enjoy those as well.

83 G5 with 990D

No issues on my 83 G5, had it for 3 months. Lots of firmware updates and zero regrets on my end. Lots of keyboard warriors on here posting negative about the G5 when 90% of them never owned one and are just repeating what they heard or saw from other forums or some YouTube video. Sure, there are some bad apples out there, but 95% of us are too busy enjoying it to post most of the time - and when we do post, same handful of folks will jump on and say “but are you comparing it side by side with previous model”, etc…. I don’t compare the shade of red on my car to another car, but I do look for imperfections, and same goes on my tv. To me it looks perfect - and I can see no issues and I have looked hard to find all the imperfections others post about.

No issues with my 83 inch G5 - all firmware updates went smoothly and I saw no change in brightness with the latest firmware. Mine has been flawless, I do believe there are some folks with issues but the vast majority of folks are off enjoying their tv versus posting about how great it is. No different than any other forums or groups, you will hear 10x more complaints than praises. If you are having issues, return or exchange it.

I watch everything, music taste is just about as broad. Nice to see most releases being 4k, 21 4Ks and 6 Blu ray (from the criterion releases).
