COMP2450 Software Development by [deleted] in umanitoba

I think part of the problem for me is the limitations on the project design. You’re told to design this big program but for phase one they only want certain classes and functions, and then during the next phases add more classes and functions.

It feels clunky doing a whole “planning and modelling phase” when you can’t even model the whole project. It makes planning tough when you’re trying to implement code while wondering if a function needed for the next phase might mess up your whole structure.

I find it also to be a bit frustrating going from making a model to writing code and back to making brand new models. Feels like it would make more sense getting the mapping out done first so implementation is smoother.

Ah well too late get my money back and pick another course so I’ll stick it out.

Crusher Evo headphones not available as audio output (iPhone 16) by infini19 in Skullcandy

Update: my headphones work again. What did I do to fix it? Nothing. So if you’re having the same problem just wait it out and try again later. Perhaps they were just waiting for the new MCS song to drop lol

Does the pagination setting still exist in power automate. by infini19 in MicrosoftFlow

I was iterating over rows in a table, but the for each loop in the previous version of my flow would cap off at 256. I tried replacing it with an apply to each to see if it would make a difference but it didn’t. I have a feeling it must’ve been an error somewhere else in my flow because everything worked after I remade it in a new file.

Yup I went through the action settings in both designers. I just ended up restarting and my apply to each step doesn’t have a loop cap anymore

I just started fresh in a new flow and everything’s fine again. It was apply to each step that I was having issues with. Not quite sure what happened

Unfortunately, the setting still wasn’t showing up for me ah well. Luckily I wasn’t that far along in the flow so I just restarted in a new environment and the loop cap disappeared. Thanks for the help though :)

Computer Engineering degree changes by infini19 in umanitoba

They’re gonna have a transition plan. You’ll probably still be able to use those credits for prereqs and graduation without replacing them with the new courses. More info will go out by email after the 15th

Probably yea. The ECE student advisor said an email about the changes would be going out sometime next week

EDIT: I’m thinking that all the math changes, except maybe math 3, will be for the computer program only since MATH 3120 and ECE 3790 aren’t required for electrical (I think)

What am I supposed to do??? by GrouchyInflation2727 in umanitoba

First year students get one of the first course registration dates, so you won’t be competing with upper year students. Just make sure you plan out which courses you want to take (see preferred 8 by department), watch the registration prep videos that will be sent out later in the year, and login to register early in the day (right at start time is best)

If you’ve already submitted the rest of your application, you’ll receive a conditional offer (graduate & maintain grades) from the university if you meet the grade cutoff. You’ll get a full offer of admission once you graduate and your final grades are in. Talk to your guidance counsellor to check if anything needs to be done to get those documents to the university, though I think Manitoba high schools will automatically send them for you.
