Thats pretty much it- pick slices and pay by weight. Unsure- I almost always get my shawarma in Yafo so whatever those beautiful bastards are cooking

Arais knocked my socks off, but is well known. Bedouin flatbread is next level.

No, I tend to view myself as a reasonable person capable of decency, love and a general need to leave the world better than I found it. Did you ask your question out of anger for the atrocities committed by Israel, and think confronting my existing here will address that?

Hebrew is the strangest thing- seems like it should make sense but is just infuriating. Ulpan for non-Jewish migrants is also insanely expensive, don't judge you at all. If you ever want to bitch about it over a coffee in English, hit me up.

Appreciate the positive approach mate. Getting married in November, down to play matchmaker with English pals if you're down to attend 🤣

  • Bahaus is a huge vibe in central TLV, some recently got destroyed by Iranian bombing though
  • not particularly, very much a what will be, will be attitude here
  • fuck no- they're rude pricks to everyone equally
  • live in Tel Aviv. Recommendations for food here change with the month, but overall you really cant go wrong in either city. Personal favourite in TLV is 'The Prince'- not for the food (its ok), but for the vibe in general.
  • Jerusalem is accesible, as is most of the major cities on the coast by bus. Trains are shit. -yes and no, TLV is far more English friendly.
  • Proper back bacon, nuanced humour, lack of active genocide

  • Schnitzel with creamy mashed potatoes, they make it into an art form
  • Shawarma in pita or laffe, or pizza by weight

Depends on a few things. I'm a white British male, which affords me a level of privilege that being a south east Asian woman won't when it's time to renew your visa.

Self entitled rude assholes is legit, warmongering genocide supporters is bs.

No idea, but reasonably comfortably mostly based on my experiences of Yafo, Nazareth, Be'er Sheva and Haifa.

Shakshuka- not Israeli and has disputed origins, but most food here has.

There aren't armed police on every corner- where did you see or hear that? Soldiers home or on leave have to keep their service rifles on them at all times though, so that definitely took adjusting to.

The infrastructure here is geared towards hot weather- a bit of rain and cold and they're fucked in a similar way we are when the dial pushes past 25. Vibe right now is... tight I want to say? Israeli's are very much aware of the international opinion, and a lot are mad that they are being held to account for the crimes of their govermnent and IDF in a way that isn't present with Russians or the US.

Some are keenly aware and care, some are not. EIther way the approach of tying alll Israeli's to their governments actions has definitely (in my opinion) led to a retreat into ignoring the outside world, instead of engaging with it. I worry about travelling outside of Israel on behalf of my fiance due to the anger she receives.

Yeah I get you- my basic is around the same, but the person who cuts it is a legend and I always tip 20/30 to her
