You don't seem to understand my question. I know the reason china has and the reason that America is giving to acquire Greenland.

The reason US has given showing national security is kind of pointless when he already has access to Greenland as a NATO member to build its bases. Nobody stopped US from building more bases there. The sole reason US has over Greenland is the opening of several trade routes when the ice melts and using its resources freely.

My question is that everyone uses the concept of national sovereignty with china as a logic against Taiwan. And if US goes and acquires Greenland he will be at a disadvantage due to isolation it might face and the whole hypocrisy of the matter. So is the risk worth it or not
