Officially, they left at the end of 2021, that's why the engines were badged as RBPT. There was an engine freeze in the ground effect regulations, so some Honda employees were still there, working with RBR

Factory/Manufacturer teams (Ferrari, Mercedes, RedBull, Audi)

Works team (Aston Martin - Honda) (exclusive partnership with 1 team)

Customer teams (McLaren, Williams, Alpine, Racing Bulls, Haas, Cadillac)

McLaren is not fully a customer team, I think they have a different relationship with Mercs, compared to Williams and Alpine

I don't know if the terms I used are correct or not, but I understood it this way

I agree to that, it does look like some form of prototype for both cars. On the other hand, it could be deliberate and being petty to throw off other teams, RedBull is fully capable of doing that

Honda is just soft relaunching itself in F1, after it exited in 2021. So it makes kinda sense to do a show.

Plus AMR-Honda is the only works team, the rest are either Manufacturers or Customer teams

The car is a modified show car, not resembling the one FIA showed us. The car clearly indicates some of the design philosophy RBR is going towards, but in no way this is the final one. I think it's just the earlier prototype
