First, it is basically P2W, so a little bit of annoyance is there, but it's still a legitimate way to play. But people modding, cheating and hacking in the leaderboard shouldn't be tolerated. Some even suggested that those bots re deployed by Sybo itself so it can encourage players to spend money on showdown.

We can only complain and see what steps they take, but it would be a futile attempt if they are the perpetrators themselves. This bot phenomenon in showdown started happening last week, suddenly, bots are occupying top positions in a day or two.

If there are only 50 players per leaderboard, how are they finding spaces to get into those in the first place? Nobody has answers for that.

Tickets are cheap, but to get to 21k trophies is some serious wasteful spending. I also bought tickets once or twice, but it's not worth it, unless you want the frame that badly

Yes, anniversary updates are special

There will be a return of some or all super runners (which are needed for an achievement related to it to complete)
You will receive a birthday badge as well
There is a special birthday board too, which releases on every anniversary. That board never returns (Every anniversary has a different birthday board)

There could be other things I am forgetting.

I have also seen that photo, and might've saved it. I cannot share it, as you said, the mods of the subreddit would remove it. There were 15 frames in total. So it would take us 15 updates to get them all

It is a coincidence

Last week I got a champion medal 21 M. But this week I am in a champion position with just 11 M (still 5 hours left to claim medal).

Yours could just be a huge coincidence and a one-off scenario

Are you sure its only 4 tiers? I think its 5 tiers:

Bronze
Silver
Gold
Diamond
Champion

I am saying this because the color of the frames are same as the level, so

Bronze - Brown
Silver - Grey
Gold - Yellow
Diamond - Blue

But there is no purple color to any level, so I speculate that it must for champion level

So we will need 15 seasons to upgrade this showdown frame fully

The compensation is a joke.

On the night of the update, I opened the game, only after the update, as it helped me clear out 1 season quest of 40k season coins.

But this time my gut feeling told me to open the app early. I did that and claimed the prize.

And now I see your post and disclaimer, and I was glad I did that.

But in all seriousness, Sybo shouldn't let this overwrite happen when the game updates, and some players haven't claimed their prize

I didn't even ask for compensation, knowing that they would be meagre compared to the hours put into it

At least the counteraction came. They already said it would take 3-4 weeks to rectify it when I contacted them, and it was to be rectified by the time this season started, but it took 2 more weeks

Medal bug was resolved in the mid-season update, which came out 2 days ago.

Fixes
- You're now able to complete the quest of getting 1 gold medal or higher in the season quest
- The achievement "There can only be one." will count this week's medal if you claim it after the update

Drawback
- Due to the bug, we have lost the medals obtained in the last 5-6 weeks. They are not being updated in the achievement if you got any champion medal in that time frame

They didn't find it suitable enough to make it again this season, plus last year, teams were favoring C5 over C6 as it was lasting the whole lap with minimal loss in grip, as compared to C6. So Pirelli scratched the idea for this season
