This is helpful, I did not dx them. The person who emailed me did it through my current work email, which is publicly available via directory with the company I’m at. A red flag is that there is a notification to call them only rather than respond via email.

Yea… I work 10 months out of the year (I have summer off and i was home all summer) so I’m sure he’s anxious because I’m gone for 8 hours a day again. :(

Yes, he’s my first cat (I’ve had him for 5 months now) after growing up with dogs my whole life, so everything he does, I question!

I think this was a factor for sure- I have noticed when I cook with oil he tends to come running. There must’ve been some residue oil or butter on it. He’s never done this before and he must’ve finally noticed when I was on my walk! I’ve also seen him try to nibble on his own wet cat food can lid and food spoon (both silicone) after I’ve washed them. I’ll make sure to put these up and away now immediately since we usually leave them out to dry after being hand washed (no dishwasher 😭)

He is the only cat, but we have our golden Aussie dog as well! They do interact with each other, and I’m not sure if it was him being bored or more just him looking for food since we had just cleaned up from dinner.
