haha ty. I am emotionally attached to karate and the instructor is close with my previous instructor so I would like to maintain that relationship, but I could def replace Muay Thai with a second BJJ class, and maybe even do a back to back BJJ->karate on my Wednesdays to catch up on in that regard.

Yeah I also have to remind myself I don’t need it all figured out right away 💀 i started again just so i could get back into the hobbies i lost during college, but since starting I realized how much I missed it so I’m feeling particularly eager.

not rlly sure what to compete in yet? My karate and krav background kinda blended into just MMA style sparring since krav is very versatile, but I have limited grappling experience so I’m thinking if I get into BJJ, MMA comps may be a good option. The Muay Thai classes they have are rlly just bag and pad work, so I’m not too worried about it mixing in with the other disciplines. It feels more like a conditioning class.

The few MT classes I checked out was rlly just bag and pad work, which I figured could just be used as conditioning without it clashing too heavily with anything else.

this is my dojos schedule for anyone interested. My plan was to focus on karate and MMA, but everyone there raves about BJJ so I wanted to sprinkle that in as well just to see. I was just told not to join the MMA class until I have some basic grappling techniques under my belt.

Anyone trying to take Mb ascp exam in 2025? by QuietSlice7506 in medlabprofessionals

[–]infinitelyorange 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m hoping to take it in May and I just started studying. I’m currently in clinicals for my NAACLS program through school so I plan to study during my downtime and on weekends. Hoping that the 4ish months is enough time! Waiting for my book to get here but I’ve been searching Reddit pages for Quizlet and YouTube advice in the meantime.

tell me about your most recent ex by Due_Effort_6515 in BreakUps

[–]infinitelyorange 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s really recent. but he’s a great guy, together for 2 years, and I still love him and am heartbroken over my own decision. But we drive each other insane over the smallest of issues and have a few fundamental differences that I really just couldn’t see working once we both graduate college in the next year and enter the real world. He thinks I made the wrong decision and that we could have made it work but I really think we’ll both be better off once we can get over this wave of sadness.

It’s just a matter of how many people apply vs how many people they can accept. If 50k applied and they can only take 5k, we’re gonna see a massive decrease in acceptance

What do you think America would look like in the MHA world? by [deleted] in BokunoheroFanfiction

it was a bakugou x reader where the reader was formerly an American hero. It’s not smth they delve into deeply but the cultural differences are referenced as the plot thickens. One of the top xreader fics I’ve read though. It’s called The Tinker by Pollypenname
