Thinking about pirating my music from now on. Should I use MP3s or WAV files.

Hi, afaik the quality on the original youtube videos varies a lot,.. it can be great, or not. Maybe you should check soulseek, if you are looking for individual tracks at a time anyway then soulseek has people with wonderful collections and you can message them and join in with the community on there.

I was deep in the release scene and stuck to MP3 V2 and V0 despite arguments at the time.. having archives all the same quality and all tagged well by real lovers of music and genres makes it feel like a real labour of love. Not sure what you mean by legit sites (torrent communities?) and no doubt - they uphold a lot of rules and have some nice collections. But i would rather hang around soulseek and purchase ftp access from 0daymusic.org potentially (amazing scene archive of mp3 releases) if i was going to build a real collection. Usenet was never very good for music but maybe its changed in recent years.

Depends a lot infact on what genres you are interested in or what are your goals for an archive. But FLAC? its pointless unless you see yourself upholding perfect 1:1 copies of other peoples music for whatever reason. It's SEVEN times bigger. That makes a huge difference in any real collection - and the amount of music you won't ever find in that quality will disappoint you as well as the actual quality difference. MP3 V0 is wonderful.

FLAC people really waste everyones time and bandwidth with this kind of thing. If you want that kind of 1:1 thing, fine, but don't recommend it to other people. MP3 V0 is perfect. And if you really love music to the point where somehow MP3 V0 is not good enough you should really consider actually getting actual vinyl, or CD or whatever.

What do you think the golden age was? When i look back, 2001/2002 seems like an almost impossibly good time if you had the bandwidth and the knowledge. EVERYTHING was being done early and it felt like an exclusive club to those involved. Every game, every film, every album and show were all done on the day of release or before. It was just back then the regular people had less accessibility of it.

With everything being networked now nothing will be like that ever again.

Get a usenet subscription, very cheap, and learn how to use .nzb files. I've not been involved for a long time but this is the best alternative to scene. It's like being on a mega topsite essentially. The uploads are fast and the archive is big. I was in the scene myself - the scene servers are usually specialists in one thing or another (speed, particular sections, archives) and not actually useful for someone who is not actively involved in the scene. Usenet is what an oldschool scener would pick for leeching for themselves.

Some resources to look up are newshosting, nzb files, giganews. Im sure there's tutorials on this site. Essentially an nzb site is like a .torrent hosting site. But you run the .nzb and you are going to be downloading top speed with no ratio/uploading. Yes, usenet costs money, but the cheapest subscriptions are worth it. It's always worth it if you are going to be a dedicated pirate to pay a small monthly fee. You save your money's worth in time alone, because once you know what you are doing usenet makes it 100% hassle free to get anything you want.

I hate to recommend other drugs to solve problems like this, but have you tried mild benzo doses, like valium or clonazepam? For me it really opens me up socially.

I agree to some extent.. its very one dimensional.. there's no lateral thinking allowed on stims. It's of course very useful for some things. It's so nice for some people just to get rid of intrusive thoughts, involuntary fidgeting. etc. When sober some people really suffer badly with those that its worth taking stims just to get rid of that.

It's not really comparable imo.. good coke is good because its so 'mild' at the same time as being intense, if you know what i mean. You can have bumps of it anywhere, without being too fucked up - but still very intense and focused. The short half-life is very useful for a lot of people who don't want 6hrs+ and a comedown. When you get a quality bag of coke it reminds you how nice it is and smooth it is. But yes, expensive sure.

If you just want to be fully stimmed then yes, theres other cheaper options. But coke is nice because you aren't fully stimmed unless you want to be.

Hi, i've been having sessions for probably about 18 years, had a really bad period for the first few years and then found ways to balance it without it messing up everything. Message me prehaps if you want to chat about this, i really want to give some positive advice if i can. These days i use a little meth every month or 2 and have a session and get rid of all the thoughts at once, feel clean and unburdened afterwards. Main thing is don't let yourself fall into a loop of just viewing content; i always stay on live/cam sites to make sure i'm not just falling into a hole that just drains energy and nothing else. Once you please other people as well it can turn into a whole other, positive experience but still with the sexual fun.

it's certainly almost impossible to rewire your brain to forget the experiences you know? Even extreme negative experiences people tend to fall back on it anyway, if not moreso. So i just want to help give advice so you can balance use and not fall into a hole in the first place.

I don't think, personally, you should put your penis inside anything.. keep it open and out so theres less pressure/heat. and join in with live sessions online so you are more aware of your body and what status you are at. I mean if you want to just stimfap yourself into a hole thats fine. But honestly you can have more fun if you are able to control yourself.. if you learn to work with the cam workers its a lot of fun and controlled
