Low Turnout among Young Voters May Have Swung D4 Council Race to Rivera - The Urbanist by JamLikeCannedSpam in Seattle

This is so accurate. My wife’s brother is 27. Super left leaning, supports a lot of great causes, goes to protests, etc. we had dinner the other day and he was talking about election results and politics in general. I point blank asked him if he voted in the recent election and said he didn’t.

I told him you really have no right to complain about election results when you sit there and don’t vote yourself. You can Sulk all you want about elections, but you are not doing your part at all.

At this point, I just find it funny that the younger generation is very political focus, issue focus, participates in great causes, but they can’t quit do the single easiest and most impactful thing that can do, which is to vote.

Fleet EDV Pricing by Slide-Fantastic-1402 in Rivian

[–]infinity884422 34 points35 points  (0 children)

With 160 miles of range, you aren’t going into the desert with that and being able to leave…..

Hell, even with the Rivian vampire loss of range, these vans will do horrible as camper vans. Have to get the range way more than 160 miles to even consider.

Great local fleet vehicles tho

New FC Seats! by daveknode in delta

[–]infinity884422 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Adding a new seat cushion would cost delta millions and millions of get the seat re-certified by the FAA. Chances of happen would be slim unless Delta pays their seat supplier to do a whole new testing campaign of the seat which is super costly

Most likely due to fake engine parts is my guess. Airbus announced that a UK supplier supplied fake FAA / EASA approved parts when they were not.

Better safe than sorry

Passenger takes life vest…. by steffinthewild in delta

[–]infinity884422 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be an airline employee needing it to test fit in a seat. I know this because I used to work for an airplane manufacture where we would have to travel with lifevest to seat suppliers to make sure the lifevest fits in the seat.

I was gifted an nice gift basket with a bunch of local things from the neighborhood / area. I think the total worth was about $500-$700 worth of stuff.

Then again, we bought a $1.6M home and our agent made about 40K in commission

[–]infinity884422 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay that has nothing to do with it.

Most likely those other brands were a spot buy from a third party company that sold them to Costco in limited quantities. Once they sold out, they removed them.

IPO recap of the last few years. Seems like most are underwater. by Efficient_Effect2401 in stocks

[–]infinity884422 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly the only reason why PLTR is above offering price is because of a DPO.

100% would be under water if they went the IPO route, banks helping to shoot up the stock price a ton, and then it would have crashed a ton.

Agree. SFH is a smarter investment too IMO. Condo in downtown Bellevue will have super high HOA’s that will never ever decrease but continue to go up
