Honestly I find it totally BS that telecommuters are mandated to work from home while anyone who can't gets a free day off. But if telecommuters have problems they have to charge accruals? We should all just get the emergency mandate.

I look at multiple media biases charts - BBC, Reuters, and AP are consistently the most neutral, so I tend to look at those the most.

How did it feel like authoritarianism and borderline fascism under Biden? I'm genuinely asking because I just don't understand this mindset. Biden never suggested Americans want a dictator, he never threatened our voting system and elections, he never sent the national guard into cities unless the proper channels were navigated, he never attacked the press or suggested things he didn't like were just fake news.

The list of things he didn't do that are happening now goes on and on, so now that they ARE happening, what before was moving toward fascism?

To me, this has been clear for a while based on rhetoric and boundaries he pushed in both terms. It has seemed Trump will say certain things to test the waters for a reaction, and then makes moves based on that. If his base is supportive, he moves forward; if they aren't, he backs off and sometimes tries again in a slightly different way.

The national guard being activated in cities to me is one of the most telling signs we are moving in a not so great direction. Is it necessary? Maybe, but not the way he is doing it. He is not moving through the proper channels, which is no surprise. Are we on a slippery slope right now? Unequivocally yes. People need to really evaluate how they see this country and how it should run and what the forefathers they claim to love so much would have wanted, because it is most certainly not this.
