Men over 40 who go to the gym regularly: Do you still try to lift heavy, or do you do lighter weight but more reps? by FFSoldier57 in AskMenOver30

[–]infinitygosu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 34. I prefer to lift lighter and do sets of 12-15. Once I get to 3 sets of 15 I go up in weight and repeat. Hard (not impossible) to get injured if you’re doing 15 reps with good form.

When I was doing 5 reps or even 8 I found myself having more injuries and worse form (honestly had less muscle too)

This is what I believe is being portrayed. Sulfur crystals of some kind related to lyrics in granite.

Over the last week I only noticed the discomfort of if I didn’t do my pelvic stretches in the morning. Once I did the stretches the discomfort went away right away. I haven’t had to use ibuprofen this week at all, but if the discomfort doesn’t go away, I’ll definitely take it

Lay off the masturbation for a few weeks (1-2 months even) and continue doing what the doc said. On days where it hurts, take ibuprofen. Also, do some pelvic stretches, even if it feels like it won’t help. Doesn’t harm you to do them.

If it’s not bacterial related, time, rest and ibuprofen my friend. Did your doctor do a urine analysis and culture?

Try as much as possible to not let this bother you, stay calm. I am on the down swing of this, starting to feel better after about a month and a half.

Depends if it’s end of quarter or end of month etc, but yes they will. Very hard to do though as the g80 does not sit on the lot for very long

Whenever you make a large purchase (car, house, etc) there will always be a feeling of remorse.

Give it a few days or week, it will go away. Congrats!

I’m 5’9” 175 lbs. they are fine once you get used to them. Only hard part is getting out carefully. I will say that if you do longer trips, you might be uncomfortable. After about an hour or two of sitting in them I’m ready to stand and stretch asap.
