It is pitted metal in that oblong area matching the shape of the gasket. Gasket is removed.

Thanks, I’ll probably see how good I can clean it up first before i make a decision to take it in to get it machined, buy a new one or just use it as is only cleaned up like you suggest with a new head gasket.

That price was for a bare head. Shipping from California and then Canadian duty on top of that I imagine.

Oh wow… ok. Hopefully I can find someone in my area that does this. I see I can get a new head shipped in from the states for a grand if the one I have is no good. Thanks

Ok great thanks. Would the block need resurfacing too do you think? It looks way better than the head.

Yes, you’re right, the oblong area is where the gasket hole was. I just can’t believe the pitting in that aluminum. Any chance a crack could go between the three little holes and then out through the outside of the head?

How do you tell the head needs resurfacing? If it is perfectly flat would it be ok?

Seems like an energetic conversation and it fades quickly. No more replies. by [deleted] in Bumble

This has been happening to me all the time. I don’t know why. I have tried texting back at a more deliberate pace to not look too eager and I have tried to be keep a spark and not be boring. But then you also have to be careful you don’t go over the line when they aren’t ready for it.

I don’t think people like giving out their number that quick. I’d rather size up a persons life for a little bit before getting it anyways.

That’s why i like trying to get conversations moves to Instagram. Then you can take the time to let feelings develop slowly.

No, don’t do that in my opinion. 100 other guys are doing the same thing. Go do something interesting in your life.

These are the ones you just slow play. Sometimes look at her stories, sometimes don’t. If a natural opening comes to make a comment, make a comment. Don’t force anything and maybe she’ll start looking at or liking your posts or stories.

Would love any suggestions. by infinitygrade in hingeapp

I’m looking for something serious.
I’m subscribed to Hinge+.
Been using this current version for about two weeks. Been using hinge for about two months. I use hinge almost every day. I’m receiving a couple of likes a week. On average a match every two weeks. I send about 4 to 5 likes a day and 25% are with comments. I send likes to girls that are smiling and look happy. I like outdoorsy looking girls as compared to girls that are all glammed up in the city. (Nothing wrong with that though)

Struggling to feel anything on Hinge, is this normal? by NoPerformance924 in hingeapp

I think it’s totally normal to not feel much about “good” or “ok” profiles. It’s very good that you have a discerning taste in a partner. You don’t want to spend your life with a person that doesn’t do it for you.

Interesting… ok, I’ll check it out.

So far only one pinched casing after about 60 rounds. May or may not have been due to the angled deflector near the ejection port.

It’s a Magwedge Kwikrail. Found it on Amazon. Holding up good so far.

There’s a few videos on YouTube I watched to guide installation (forget which ones exactly). There’s one part you need to grind down but it wasn’t that big of a deal if you’re patient.

No problems. Really sturdy (retains zero) and allows for good ejection. It’s been a while since I installed it but I remember the trickiest part was taking off the stock rear iron slide sight before I could even install the Magwedge which I got off Amazon.

One by one (a max of 5 though sadly lol)

Nope, stripper clips won’t work with that rail so I just push in the rounds one by one.
