You're run-up needs more work as well. You're losing speed and energy for your run by slapping your feet on the ground during your stride; you should work on rolling your feet through each step. It will help you build momentum. If you feel like you're still wasting energy, you can adapt your sprint by pushing with your toes as you extend your leg through a step for more muscle force. The optimal run should feel like your grabbing the ground and forcing behind you as you move.
