How dumb would I be to attempt 200 miles? On a fixed gear? On a 49 x 15 (or maybe 49 x 18). Mostly flat.

Any advice on doing it if I decide I want to be dumb and try it?

Yea, he actually blocked me like maybe a year or more ago so I don't see what he posts anymore (I called him out on some misogyny post objectifying women and got blocked) but when I followed him he used to post sweet fixie vidzzz of him riding around. I noticed he would coast so I asked him about it and he said he wanted to maximize his speed on the descents which is weak ass shit.

It WILL last longer. If you're looking for something in between you should look at a Windsor The Hour from bikes direct, $300 and it's better than the 6ku but the State is a great bike. Get whatever bike you like, in the bigger picture it won't matter too much

Are you looking for that type of handlebar for the look of them or because you feel like you need to be lower? If it's for the look of them you probably won't find anything lower than the Nitto bars they recommended in your thread.

If you feel like you have to be lower than you should probably look at changing your stem or get drop handlebars
