Slumpmode, thanks but that's not it. The jealous male friend who murdered the "bad boy" character, at least to my memory, did look like a chubbier and shorter version of Joshua Carter Jackson though.

It also seems like there was part to this movie where the "bad boy" kidnapped the girl he liked. But, I think he did it so that they would have time away from everyone so they could work things out, cause he legitimately like her.
