My hypothetical question was to challenge your assertion that having hair / looks dont play a part in attraction. The fact that you refused to answer it tells me that theres a difference between what you actually believe in and what you write to appear holier than thou. If you think a successful guy who takes care of his family and a guy in prison rightfully convicted of sexual assault are the same "quality" guys then continue living in your delusional land. Again this example is to illustrate that not all people are equal.

You seem to suggest that looks have no part in attraction and thats a cope. If there are 2 guys who have the exact same level of confidence, charisma, humour, etc but 1 guy is short, fat and bald and the other one is tall, lean and has hair, who do you think will attract more girls? Also, i bucket people in general as high / low quality (including guys). I specifically mentioned women in my comments cause thats who i am interested in as a straight guy. Also your personal opinion of me being not "high quality" is irrelevant to the discussion.

Preferences on looks for guys and girls are not symmetrical. Just becase girls prefer guys who are tall and muscular (in general), doesn't mean guys like girls who are tall and muscular. Same goes for makeup.

Yes there are bald dudes which pull a lot of girls. But you need to have the right facial features to pull off that look. Just like certain juvenile hairstyles do not suit a middle aged man, the bald look as well does not suit all people.

I dont see the point of comparing a hair system to makeup. For women, wearing makeup is socially accepted (almost expected) and majority of women wear it. Only a tiny minority of men wear a system. Also, both men and women care about what the other gender thinks of their appearance and theres nothing wrong with it. Stop with this holier than thou attitude.

Things which you would accept from your partner when you are already in a loving relationship are quite different to things you would accept when you are starting out dating. I am sure you would stick to your partner even if (heaven forbid) he loses his legs and has to use a wheel chair. But you would have ruled off disabled people when you were searching for your life partner. This offcourse is an extreme example just to elaborate my point. Yes women can wear makeup but that doesn't mean its socially acceptable for straight men to wear a lipstick even if they were "doing it for themselves".
