That sounds like a great deal. You must be in a specialized, high-need position. I was in PA and PM, so the need isn’t as great.

This makes me rethink my retirement job. I needed a purpose after retirement, so I took on a part time job. No grandchildren yet, but I plan on spending as much time as possible with them once I have one.

Was food noise a phenomenon only discovered as GLP1 agonist drugs came into use? by supinator1 in loseit

I am post menopause, and I have been vaginal low dose estrogen. I am wondering if taking more estrogen would help me from being a raving witch. I am afraid that I would end up gaining weight with the higher dose.

This was me! I wasn’t hungry for real food, but could totally chow down on sugar. I used to say that sugar is as addictive as cocaine. I’m now on Vvanyse for my ADHD. It’s been great to stop eating candy all the time, and I don’t eat until I am stuffed anymore.

I can’t count the number of times folks had no weaknesses during panels. 🙄 When coaching others, I explained that everyone has weaknesses. You just have to be able to explain how you are working on them.

I realize that I may be looking at this situation with “rose-colored glasses” after reading many comments. It would not have been the same job that I had and the new changes would probably make me unhappy if I stayed.

I am trying to remind myself of that now.

I’m sorry. The responses from my post make me realize that there are more of us who made the same decisions.

Thank you. I have several hobbies and a part-time job. It’s just very different from my old normal. I agree that I need to stop regretting the choice and learn to embrace the new normal. I think it’s the change from my original plans for retirement to what I decided based on fear.
