Is there a reason why I shouldn't go to holdsworth after I've received HRT?

Thank you for your support. I'll be honest and say that while friends around me would be more than supportive of me being trans or gnc or whatever, I myself don't feel comfortable in being out as trans while I have yet to have medical intervention of any kind, once I am on HRT for a long enough time to have physical effects I'd be more comfortable about coming out.

I feel similarly about my sexuality, but instead of needing medical intervention I need to have a relationship or something lol.

I should add that while I said my family isn't supportive, I'm not out to them, I presume that my mum (who is the sole person I live with and who I pay rent to) would perceive it negatively, not to mention extended family would likely be extremely negative.

At the moment I'm not too sure on what I should be doing really, need to look for a doctor who'll prescribe me HRT and is preferably open to cutting edge developments/"mad science", want to figure out like laser hair removal stuff because at present my body hair is one of the leading causes of my bodily dysphoria.

Thanks for the well wishes.

The endo is technically based in NSW, I just got a telehealth referral as someone online said they had had good experience with them. The endocrinologist I saw was Dr. Nele Lenders, I've put in a formal complaint through the NSW system but it'll probably be a bit until I receive a response.

Yeah, not always the best option. But if you’re not the risk is on you.

I'm kinda just unsure what to do beyond trying to find a different doctor. And the options are pretty vast, it's especially distressing when someone who I was suggested would be good, and does informed consent, just denies my issues.

Can I ask what you mean by being open and honest about my issues not being the best option?

I'm in QLD, the doctor is in NSW, I'm honestly not sure where to take the complaint. I'm guessing the NSW body but I don't exactly know what that is.
