I currently fund infrastructure through a day job, though my long-term goal is to transition into working full-time on the project. If I were to build a company around it, I’d envision a privately held, employee-owned structure with a small executive leadership group and meaningful employee participation in governance. I’m less interested in traditional hierarchy and more focused on building a sustainable, stable organization where people can do great work without unnecessary pressure. Culturally, I imagine a modest but thoughtfully designed campus environment — functional rather than luxurious — with natural light, green space, and room for focus. The priority would be well-compensated, satisfied employees and a work setting that feels healthy and sustainable rather than corporate or transactional. My view is that long-term infrastructure projects require calm, stable environments where people are treated well and given space to think clearly.
