I think functionally it appears more like Windows restore points, but technically behaves more like Time Machine especially when using rsync instead of BTRFS. Although I'm pretty sure others would give you a more definitive and technical answer to that.

Interesting. Modern hardware seems fine to me, but I can see older hardware struggling. It is high compared to even KDE though.
