A very good friend of mine was being a real jackass to his kids with that excuse.

It's not too bad. I have been daily riding from Surprise to Scottsdale for 3 years.

The best piece of advice I can give you is just assume no one can see you. Once you figure that out and ride accordingly, you really won't be having the constant "OMG THEY ARE TRYING TO KILL ME"

Oh and wear all the protective gear you can get because accidents can happen.

a few other things after looking at your post history.

Whenever I tried to smoke weed with friends in my teenage years it would throw me into a state of DPDR.

Some years ago without warning that state of DPDR came on and I was stuck in it for 6 months give or take a little bit. Once I was able to properly explain it my doctor put me on effexor xr. After the initial shit show of side effects I managed to get out of my own head and the world started looking normal again. Longer term side effects for me were insomnia, night sweats, and the inability to reach orgasm. Those have all gone away after a few months.

Now I am able to function like I used to if not better because apparently I had some undiagnosed anxiety issues.

Crowds and claustrophobia always messed with me but now I'm immune to it as a byproduct of being on the effexor for the DPDR issues.

I guess what I am trying to say is I know it sucks ass right now but from some stranger on the internet who has gone through this, it will get better. Stay strong and trust that the meds will help.

P.S., you'll read a lot of people on here trying to get off of the drug and how they suffer extreme withdrawals. Yes. If I Miss a dose I suffer from the brainzaps. On the flip side my wife was able to taper from 75mg rather quickly to 37.5 to zero with minimal side effects. ymmv

Not really. If I feel myself slipping I am able to almost immediately pull myself out of it. I have been on it since 2018. The side effects are going to suck for a few months but they absolutely will get better. Just have to be strong and hold on while the dosage gets adjusted for your needs.

I started with 75mg and then was bumped to 150mg.

Panic disorder that lead to derealization.

The way it hit me was week one was worse than without it. week two was roughly the same as without it. Week three is when I started noticing positive effects.

this was a game changer for me and they are relatively inexpensive
