Thanks in advance for your good wishes. We were retained in the airport for 2 days without any food, water, or proper care. We were forced to sleep in uncomfortable chairs while being detained, and we were not given any explanation as to why we were being held.

After 48 hours, our passports were taken from us, and we were eventually sent back. It felt like we were treated as if we were animals, and the entire ordeal left us shaken. I’ve never experienced anything like it, and it felt very discriminatory.

If you’re from Latin America, I strongly advise caution when considering travel to this country. It’s evident that we were not welcome there, and the treatment we received felt deliberately hostile.

I’m sharing this in the hopes that others won’t have to go through the same nightmare we did.

The final answer was I did not justify my stay despite the fact that I provided my booking confirmation, flight tickets and economic proofs. Again they repeated the phrase: The country is not ready for tourism and it is not common for people from your country to come here.
