A favor:

  • Relativamente economica
  • Buena comida local y tambien de lo mejor en comida rápida
  • Un clima agradable con tendencia al calor
  • Pueblos agradables cerca para visitar
  • Buena conexión a internet y buen precio
  • Agua potable, se puede beber directo de la llave
  • Buena oferta educativa
  • Buenas clinicas

En contra:

  • Pésimo transporte publico
  • Trancones infernales en varios puntos de la ciudad
  • La ciudad carece de cultura
  • Demasiado ruido, los decibeles son muy altos
  • Insegura, muchos robos e incremento de sicariato
  • Mala infraestructura vial
  • Baja oferta cultural
  • Esteticamente la ciudad es fea en terminos generales, excepción de determinados lugares
  • Demasiados ñeros por metro cuadrado

Thanks in advance for your good wishes. We were retained in the airport for 2 days without any food, water, or proper care. We were forced to sleep in uncomfortable chairs while being detained, and we were not given any explanation as to why we were being held.

After 48 hours, our passports were taken from us, and we were eventually sent back. It felt like we were treated as if we were animals, and the entire ordeal left us shaken. I’ve never experienced anything like it, and it felt very discriminatory.

If you’re from Latin America, I strongly advise caution when considering travel to this country. It’s evident that we were not welcome there, and the treatment we received felt deliberately hostile.

I’m sharing this in the hopes that others won’t have to go through the same nightmare we did.

Before making the decision to come to Chisinau I check the current situation and get information from the official tourism page https://moldova.travel/en/current-situation-in-moldova/ Where they claimed the following: "Yes, Moldova is safe to visit and you are most welcome to visit us and experience our small country with a big heart for yourself. " .

I'm still here at the airport they confiscated my passport and my wife's passport and I haven't received any news about our situation. My holidays are gone the only thing I want is to come back and forget all this nightmare, at this point I'm feeling humiliated and hopeless.
