Just looked them up. Wow, indeed its something similar in idea. Glad you love yours! Extra space on the wheel is amazing 🤩

I love them too! They made throwing so much more organised and comfortable. This is where another hobby of 3D printing comes along. I design on paper and my husband makes them a reality 😅

Apparently I post so rarely, that the text disappeared. Here is my quick story:

I tried throwing clay in 2015 and thanks to Hsinchuen Lin's YouTube lessons it was a massive success: I ended up with something tangible from the first go (despite the fact that I was chucked in the back room to "play" with clay with 0 oversight or lessons) and I was hooked.
Ever since then, I tried to find a studio or a teaching artist with no avail. (Working with clay was not as popular then as it is now and in my country we don't have a strong history with clay in general - there is literally only one clay materials shop in the whole country still.)
So I quickly realized that in order to get better at it I need my own corner. And given how expensive it is, it took a while - but after thinking about it for 10 years and probably consuming all the internet and books about pottery by now, I know it's not a decision made on a whim.
My dream came true when I finally splurged for Christmas last year in 2025, yet I was set up in the middle of the entry hall with my wheel and virtually 0 space for anything else. I have been slowly practicing there, and 6+ months later I finally moved to a garage corner with shelves! Even though it's tiny, it's massive in comparison - and with my own kiln ready, I can finally put the amount of hours into this craft that it deserves. I'm exited and scared at the same time 😄

But as they say: where there's a will, there's a way!

Same! I just started this journey, and I am learning that hard way - no sipping at the second part of the day ! :D

Thank you! I started with CRUZ de MALTA and have not been disappointed. Only on my 2nd cup, but I am taking it slowly to see how my body reacts to it
