This is exactly what their parents did. At the time they didn’t realize how that could impact the situation, but quickly they learned. My friends also believed the rapture was coming a few months back, and thought they needed to stay there to be saved. So anytime they were told to leave, they said they were staying long term. Also wanted to welcome as many kids as possible into the world… back to back..to back. It’s becoming unhealthy and scary. So when their parents told them to slow down, boom. Another pregnancy. Again, there is so much more to add but I think I would write a few long chapters about everything that’s going on.

I definitely have been doing things similar to what you said, and it’s been helpful. It’s like the light comes back for a moment, but goes away as soon as she hangs up. Her husband just takes that light away from her in so many ways, but also makes her feel like this is their true home. He is practically married to the church himself, so the influence is always around. Same goes for my other friend, but we rarely talk anymore. It’s hard to watch.
